Attention Spring Sports Athletes Spring sports start February 26 so get your paperwork turned in to the ASB office by the Friday prior, to ensure you are cleared for Monday’s practice. If you played a fall or winter sport you still need to fill out the Medical History and Waiver-Emergency Reference Form and the Sports Specific-Insurance Form.

Attention Best Students The 1st semester BEST Seminar will be Wednesday, January 24th, in the Career Center. All BEST students will report to the Career for the seminar during their BEST period. 4th period BEST students will take 1st lunch and report to the Career Center at 11:30. January evaluations will be passed out and need to be returned ASAP. See Mrs. Ferate or Ms. Brown if you have any questions!

Grad Night 2018 Class of 2018: Due to unforeseen challenges, the Grad Night event to be held after graduation this spring is cancelled. In its place, a PTSA committee is organizing an alternate culminating activity for the Class of 2018. Stay tuned for additional details.

Honor Society The next National Honor Society meeting will be held this Wednesday (1/24) at 7:20 a.m. in the Theater or after school in the Cafeteria. We hope to see you there!

Attention Students Come join Dumbledore’s Army after school on Mondays. See us in Room 321 and come practice your magic!

Attention CK Students! Auditions for CKHS Theatre's winter show, Murder at Cafe Noir, will take place today after school in the theatre. They are cold reads so auditioners are not required to prepare any material.

Featured school policy of the week… Truancy, students have a responsibility to attend school. Regular and punctual class attendance is required, please, be in class and be on time!

Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors Those who are interested in pursuing a career in the military as an officer should plan on attending the ROTC /Academy Night presentation Thursday, February 1, 2018, at 6:45 p.m. in the Central Kitsap High School Theater. Representatives from each of the military branches will be in attendance to answer questions. Presentations about the educational and career opportunities, along with the requirements and process to pursue one of the Service Academies (Air Force, Army, Navy, Coast Guard, or Merchant Marine), or College ROTC. For more information, contact the Career Center.

Attention Sophomores and Juniors! If you took the PSAT NMSQT in October, this is the last call to pick up your scores and test booklets. These results are a great tool to study for the SAT so please pick up your scores before or after school, during passing time, or during your lunch in the counseling office.

Students Remember you have only 48 hours or two school days to verify absences.
