If your child walks to school, please encourage them to use a safe walking route. We suggest using one of the following routes:

• Silverdale Elementary (Limited routes, please call the Transportation Department for details.)

Secondary

• Central Kitsap High School
• Central Kitsap Middle School
• Fairview Middle School
• Klahowya Secondary School
• Olympic High School
• Ridgetop Middle School

Choice

• Barker Creek Community School

These are just suggestions. As a parent, you know the best way for your child to walk to and from school.

Students who live within a one-mile radius of school do not ride buses. If you have a safety concern, please let us know. We will research your concern and make an exception if needed. Please contact the Transportation Department at 360-662-8800 to discuss your options.
