Transportation: After-school transportation will remain the same — buses will pick up at their regular times.

Event Details: Students will have the opportunity to connect with industry representatives, technical colleges, military branches, and community colleges.

Running Start students are welcome to attend. Please sign in at the main office when you arrive.

Halloween Costume Reminders

A cartoon Hello Kitty character dressed in a skeleton costume.
Next Friday is Halloween! We want everyone to have fun and enjoy the day!  All school rules and expectations still apply on that day.  If you plan to wear a costume for Halloween, please remember the following.

  • All costumes must be school appropriate. There can be no reference to drugs, alcohol, or other inappropriate items.
  • We must be able to recognize you and your face cannot be covered. Full face paint and/or masks are not allowed.
  • No weapons, real or look alike, can be on a CKSD property and therefore cannot be part of a costume. This would include any replica, airsoft, splat, or Nerf look alike weapon. Having these on campus will result in disciplinary action.
  • A costume may not make fun of, demean, appropriate, or make a caricature of any culture or group of people.

CKHS is a safe and inclusive community for all students, staff, and families. Our costumes should reflect this value of our community. If you see something on that does not seem right, please say something to a trusted adult or administrator. We believe that all of our students will choose costumes that align with these guidelines and make it a fun experience for all!

Our 10th and 12th graders will be taking the Healthy Youth Survey during Advisory on October 31, 2025. This is an optional survey. If you have any questions about the survey or would like to know more information, please use this link for a FAQ page.

Impact Aid

Every year, Central Kitsap School District applies for federal Impact Aid funding. These funds compensate CKSD for the loss of local tax dollars from tax exempt federal property.

The results of our Impact Aid survey help support our request for these federal funds. This survey is critical to our district’s resources for students.

Please complete this form as soon as possible. Log into PowerSchool Parent Portal to access the online forms for your students. You can learn more at https://www.ckschools.org/impactaid or email ImpactAid@ckschools.org with your questions. Thank you for your cooperation!
