CKHS was proud to host a special Women’s Panel on March 30, giving students the opportunity to hear from seven inspiring women from our local community. The panel featured professionals representing a wide variety of careers and life experiences, including education, public health, nursing, engineering, cultural leadership, wellness, and the arts.
Our guest speakers included Azzia Leger, tattoo artist; Wendy Bourne of the Suquamish Tribe; Gabriel Outlaw-Spencer, M.Ed., IMH-E; Adrienne Hampton, Public Health Educator; Chelsea Hall, Nurse; Glynnis Klinefelter Sio; Kelly Thomas, Chief Engineer in Defense and Space; and LaShaye Stanton Phillips, Head Doula and Etiquette Coach.
Students had the chance to ask thoughtful questions and hear each speaker share her personal journey, professional accomplishments, and words of encouragement. The panelists offered meaningful insight into the many different paths to success and inspired students to think about their own future goals and possibilities.
We are so grateful to these amazing women for taking the time to connect with and encourage our students. Events like this help strengthen the connection between our school and community while empowering the next generation of leaders.
