Fund Your Future-Financial Aid Outreach

Make the Most of Summer 🌞

Small steps now can make a big difference later. Use summer to prepare, explore, and get ahead:
🎓 Seniors: Prepare for What’s Next
  • Create a budget to manage expenses.
  • Check your email often for updates and deadlines.
  • Ask questions early—about classes, aid, or training. Try: “Is there anything important I need to know?”
📚 Juniors: Plan Ahead
  • Understand college costs using net price calculators.
  • Get ready for financial aid—presentations start in fall; applications open October 1.
  • Start scholarships: create an account at thewashboard.org and explore options.
🔍 Sophomores & Juniors: Explore & Build
  • Think about your future and career interests.
  • Research careers (skills, pay, training).
  • Visit colleges—many offer free summer tours.
  • Build your resume: jobs, volunteering, skills, or hobbies.

Peer Tutoring

A word cloud graphic with the central word 'TUTORING' in large, bold letters.

Families, we’re excited to offer peer tutoring every Wednesday during Advisory in the Library as a welcoming, supportive space for all students. Whether your student wants to strengthen skills, get extra help with a class, or learn alongside classmates, peer tutoring is a great place to grow confidence and succeed. It’s also a chance to connect with other students. They might even meet a new friend while learning together.
