Search Our Collection

Gone are the days when a library's collection is found entirely in print on the library shelves.

Destiny
Much of the CKHS library holdings can be located using Destiny.  Certainly, this is the best way to find our print fiction and non-fiction materials.  However, Destiny will also locate eBooks, audiobooks, and it is configured to search through many of our online information databases.

Overdrive/Sora
Librarians across the District have pooled library funds for several years to create this collection of eBooks.  It is primarily fiction, but also includes plenty of entertaining non-fiction.

Virtual Reference Library
Reference materials are generally non-fiction resources used in research and locating information.   Most of the time our students will search online for this task, so we are shifting much of our informational resources over to online information databases.  The Gale Virtual Reference Library is one of our best choices.  All the materials are available for unlimited simultaneous use 24-7.

Classlink
We have numerous online information databases.  Benefits include finding quality and trustworthy, non-biased information which you have full permission to use.  All of our databases provide complete MLA citations which you can copy/paste into your Noodletools list.

Flipster Magazines
We are subscribed to a number of magazines in digital format.  Look for Flipster - CKHS in Classlink to see them.  Install the Flipster app on your mobile device if you'd like, but these magazines also work on Chromebooks.
