COLLEGE VISIT!!! Are you interested in hearing about being a student at Perry Technical Institute located in Yakima, WA? An enrollment specialist from the trade school will be here on Tuesday, March 26th in the Main Office Conference Room from 1:45pm-2:30pm to share information and answer any questions you may have. Visit www.perrytech.edu/programs/ to see what programs they offer. If you are interested in attending, please stop by the Counseling Office and sign up in the College Visit Binder.

World Language Proficiency test will be given on April 17th. This test is given to students who are fluent in a language other than English and provides four high school credits along with the Seal of Biliteracy on your diploma, so please consider signing up, the deadline to do so is March 29th. You can contact Ms. Allmendinger or use the QR code on flyers that are posted throughout the school.

Choir Show Once again, March 22 &23 CK Choirs take to the stage in a high-energy, toe-tapping song and dance spectacular. Feature soloists and large group numbers keep you moving with songs from In the Heights, Hairspray, Mamma Mia, and more! Friday's show includes a bake sale and Saturday's intermission will be our dessert auction. Tickets online or at the door and tickets FREE for CKHS ASB cardholders!!!

Annual Food Drive Non-perishable food donations are being collected through Advisory classrooms starting March 14 and continuing through March 22. The winning Advisory class by item count will win a prize. Please consider donating!

REGISTER TO VOTE! Did you know that CKHS has 250 students that will be old enough to vote in the CKSD Special Election on April 23rd and more than 450 students that will be old enough to vote in the Presidential Election in November? Did you also know that you can pre-register to vote when you are 16 & 17 years old so that you are automatically registered to vote once you turn 18? You can register online at VoteWA.gov using your driver’s license, permit, or state ID; OR in person at your county elections office; OR in person when you get your driver’s license, permit, or ID at Department of Licensing; OR by mailing in a paper form. You can pick up the paper form in the Career Center. Get involved! Get registered! Your vote is your voice!

Hello Sophomores - Class of 2026! Just a friendly reminder that over the next three days (starting Friday, March 15th) you will be meeting with your Counselor to finalize your registration for your classes for next year! Please be sure to have your blue registration form filled out with 6.0 courses selected as 1st choice options, alternates circled and a parent signature. You'll also need to make sure you have your charged Chromebook ready. If you have questions, please stop by the Counseling Office.
