CKHS staff and students have access to vast collections of electronic books.

Overdrive/Sora - Our primary platform for pleasure reading is through Overdrive.  This company also provides a new interface called Sora which is available on web browsers and also as an app for common mobile devices.  A huge advantage to the Sora App is that you can connect it to both school and public library collections to increase your choices without adding more apps.

EBSCO - LOTS of informational eBooks on sophisticated topics. See screenshot for sample search results.

RBdigital - We are members of a statewide consortium of eBooks and eAudiobooks, which means  there is a large collection but you may have to put popular items on hold.  CK secondary librarians also purchased a number of items for our own collection.  You can find titles such as To Kill a Mockingbird, Fahrenheit 451, Lord of the Flies, and Dracula in audio format.

Use the icon in Classlink to register and create your username/password.  Then you can sign in on Chromebooks, desktops, or a mobile app which is available for iOS or Android devices.  Like Overdrive, the mobile app lets you add both school and public library accounts to the one app.  KRL's collection includes a lot of popular magazines.
